Q: Is Motor Island safe?
A: Motor Island is a very safe place for children to visit. It's been developed to meet or exceed all child Internet safety guidelines. No personal information is shared, and users are only able to view or access their own account information.
Q: Do I have to purchase something to play?
A: No, there is no purchase necessary to play in Motor Island. Entry is absolutely free. Registering and verifying your email address grants full access to all games and activities.
Q: What if I've already purchased a Toy State product? Do I get special access?
A: Some Toy State products still on shelves come with a license plate number and details on how to use it to access Motor Island. This process is currently being phased out, allowing anyone who visits Motor Island to register, no purchase necessary.
Q: How do I start playing?
A: First visit www.mymotorisland.com and click "Play Now." If you are a new user, next you'll need to create an account. Simply fill in the requested information in the "New Driver Registration" section, click "Next," and follow the instructions. If you've already registered, then simply enter your username and password into the box labeled "Existing User Log-In" at the top of the page and you're good to go!
Q: Do I need a special program to play?
A: No, no special programs are needed. As long as your computer meets the minimum requirements (see below) you will be able to access and enjoy Motor Island.

Q: How do I choose a vehicle in my garage?
A: If you only have one vehicle, simply click on it and it will pull into the center of your Garage. If you have more than one vehicle, use the arrows on the conveyor belt to sort through them. When you find the car you want to drive, click on it and it will pull out to the center of your Garage. From there, simply click on "Go To Map" and you can take it for a spin.
Q: How do I get more vehicles?
A: You can get new vehicles by redeeming your Motor Money in one of the dealerships on Motor Island.
Q: What is Motor Money?
A: Motor Money is the currency of Motor Island. While driving around the island, you can check your Motor Money account balance on your main dashboard along the bottom of the screen. You'll also see your balance in the shopping display screen while in your Clubhouse, on the Motor Mile, or any of the other shopping area on Motor Island.
Q: How do I earn Motor Money?
A: You can earn Motor Money by playing games on Motor Island. Click on any of the many game icons located around the island, put your skills to the test, and win Motor Money based on how well you do.
Q: How do I get accessories for my vehicles?
A: Once you've earned some Motor Money, drive over to The Motor Mile and visit the Paint Shop, the Accessories Shop, and the Wheel Shop. There you can purchase everything you need to customize your ride.
Q: What is my Clubhouse?
A: Your Clubhouse is a place where you can hang out before or after you play games or cruise the streets. Use your Motor Money to deck it out any way you like. and make it the perfect spot for a little R&R. You can access your Clubhouse through your Garage.
Q: How do I get accessories for my Clubhouse?
A: Click on the "Shop Now" button on the screen in your Clubhouse. Check out the "Clubhouse 2 Go" catalog, where you'll find all the hottest accessories for your Clubhouse.
Q: What is Tell-a-friend?
A: Tell-a-friend lets you send an email or print a certificate inviting your friends to visit Motor Island. You can tell them about a specific game or just about how much fun Motor Island is.

Q: How do I take care of my vehicle or machine?
A: After every 30 miles you drive, you need to visit a Gas & Go station to fill up your tank. Don't worry - Ripp will give you a handy reminder whenever your gas is running low. Also every 90 miles, your vehicle will need some routine maintenance. At any Gas & Go station, just complete the two maintenance games and your ride will be tuned up and ready to rip.
Q: How do I get back to my garage?
A: Your Garage is located at the center of the island. If you're nearby, just drive up to the entrance where you'll get a prompt to go inside. If you're further away, just drive onto the Motorbahn you'll be transported directly to your Garage.
Q: What is the Motorbahn?
A: The Motorbahn is an underground interstate that allows you to get around the island quickly. If you know where you're going and need to get there in a hurry, drive into any Motorbahn entrance located around the island and get there fast.

Q: I'm lost. How do I find my way around?
A: Your Motor Island GPS is located in the bottom-right corner of your screen and can help you get to wherever you want to go.

A: Missions are simply another kind of game, a way to help Ripp solve problems and have fun, too. Missions appear on the map as red cross-hair icons.
Q: How do I get a Certificate?
A: Once you successfully complete a Mission, you'll receive a certificate commemorating your service along with a reward from the Mayor of Motor Island!
Q: Where can I see my Certificates?
A: Just like your trophies, your certificates are proudly displayed in the Trophy Case in your Clubhouse. You can also see them on your dashboard by clicking "View Profile" and then "View Accomplishments."
Q: Can I play a Mission again?
A: Yes, even after you've completed a mission, you'll can still play it again as often as you'd like.

A: Motor Island has been developed to meet or exceed all child internet safety guidelines. No personal information is shared, and users are only able to view or access their own account information.
Q: Why do you need a parent's email address?
A: In accordance with child internet safety guidelines, all children under age 13 need parental permission to register online. An activation email will be sent to the parent's email address provided with a link to activate your child's Motor Island account. That email address is then kept on file in case you or your child forgets the account username or password. You may receive occasional emails from Toy State with information on product or services, which you can opt-out of anytime. Your email address will never be shared with third parties.
Q: Can I change my profile?
A: You can access your profile from the main Motor Island dashboard at any time. Simply click "View Profile" and "Edit" to make any changes.
